SKW and Tura Magic leads in Youth league
The Namibia Football Association (NFA) under 13 and 15 youth league started last weekend with 13 team divided into two groups.
According to the chairman of the league Rolf Beiter, the league which is played at the NFA Technical Centre got off to a great start. "The players are enjoying themselves and the coaches, referees and all is very good. We are all looking forward to great days ahead in this league, thanks to the NFA", Beiter said.
The league is divided into two streams with SKW, Nick Eleven, Mario Academy, Colts, Acadia, Katville and Katutura Youth Academy in the Zebra Stream, while Ramblers, Tura magic, Windhoek United, Scorpions, Kaizen Football Academy and the NFA women under-15/17 side, all in the Oryx Stream.
Round one results: Tura Magic 6 Scorpions 0, Ramblers 2 Women Development NFA 15/17 1, Windhoek United 1 Kaizen Football Academy 2, Nick Eleven 4 Arcadia 1, Cymot SKW 6 Katsville 0, Katutura Youth Academy 1 Mario FA 2. Colts did not play and got a bye.
The Round two fixtures are out and will see action starting off at 8h00 at the NFA Technical Centre as Acadia faces SKW.
At 9h45, Katsville will play Katutura Youth Academy, while at 10h50 Colts and Nick Eleven will meet. Scorpions and Windhoek United will play at 12h15 to be followed by Tura Magic against the NFA women under15/17.
The day's programme will end with a 15h05 fixture between Kaizen Football Academy and Ramblers while the Mario Academy will have a bye in this round.
